Paula is well known professional handspinner, author and shepherd who lived in the Seattle area for more than 25 years. She moved to British Columbia 20 years ago to join Pat Green in offering the best fiber preparation tools available. Her dedicated involvement and experience in fiber world have stimulated the design and development of the Triple Picker, the Delicate Deluxe, the Fancicard and of course the Supercard, all available at Pat Green Carders.

She is the author of several books, including this particular one that she recently asked us to republish for her.  Her book, Spinning for Softness and Speed is the result of a lifetime of spinning, and teaching others to spin.  On her teaching journeys, she discovered that many people encountered the same problems, and has addressed them beautifully in this quintessential volume on spinning.  Packed with photographs, helpful hints and tips it has helped thousands of spinners improve on the softness and speed of their work.

Available new from our bookstore for $24.95 here.  Discounts are available for resellers and wholesale orders.  We will take your copy up to Paula to be personally signed for you for a fee of $10.00 if desired.
