Free books for avid young readers!
Young readers rule!!
We honour avid young readers (ages 12 and under) at The Book Man with our Kids' Club! Joining is easy and free. All you have to do is stop by The Book Man and fill out a membership form that we'll keep on file at the bookstore.
We'll give you as many book report forms as you'd like (or you can download and print them at home here). We'll give you a punch card that you'll need to hang onto, and create a special Kids Club Account in our computer system.
Our book report forms ask readers to identify the book that they read, and tell us a little bit about the story. We also ask them to highlight some of their favourite parts and characters, and then ask for both their signature, and yours.
Completed forms can be brought back to The Book Man and we'll stamp your child's membership card. Please bring it with you, but don't worry, we'll keep track of the punches on their account just in case it gets lost. Earn five stamps, and voila, a free kids' book is yours to choose, up to a $5.00 value.
With your permission, we'll also take a photograph of your child with our famous bookstore cat Nietzsche for our Kids Club Members Page!
