Children's Area

We take a particular pride in our selection of children's literature at The Book Man. With over 15 000 beautifully organized titles to peruse both in our children's section, and throughout our store, young readers will find a variety of topics to sink their teeth into.

Classics like Nancy Drew, or newer favourites such as Captain Underpants each live in their own sections. Horse crazy? We have a horse section! Into sharks? We've thought of you as well! We've applied the same outstanding organization to our kids' books that we utilize in the rest of our store.

A special children's area complete with tiny chairs and bins of toys makes it a pleasure for children to play and read while you browse.

All of our staff were avid readers as children, and are always excited to be able to connect young readers with new titles & authors.

	In our opinion, reading to your children is one of the greatest gifts that you can provide. Having books in your home, and setting time aside for reading is the singlemost important factor for your child's success in early education. We believe in the importance of early years literacy, both for academic success, and the development of imagination.
