What book do you like recommending the most, and why?
If someone is a dog lover, I always recommend 'How to Speak Dog' by Stanley Coren. For a dog owner, this is the ultimate book! Informative and entertaining, it made me aware of what my dog is really "saying."
What does reading mean to you?
Reading is my entertainment as well as my education. I'm never bored with books to read.
Tell us about your favorite pet.
It's hard to choose a favorite of all the pets I've had, but I guess I'd have to go with Kinyonga, my gorgeous panther chameleon. He was one of my most challenging pets with tempermental environment needs, but my husband and I embraced th eproject of building lizard habitats. He was fascinating to watch, gentle to handle, and a big hit with the kids at 'show and tell' in school.
Something that your mom taught you that has been invaluable to you.
She taught me to be honest and believe in myself.
What are your hobbies?
I can be found walking all over town with my dog Ohgrrr, cooking, reading, crosswords, sudoko puzzles, arts and crafts with the kids, and organizing whatever I can find!
If you had to pick one word to describe yourself, what would it be?
Creative.... my kids said picky.
