What does reading mean to you?

If I am reading it means I either have all the work done that needs doing or I am ignoring the work that still needs doing and am relaxing and off to another place or time that someone has had the talent to create for my enjoyment or enrichment.

Tell us about your favourite pet.

Most of the pets I've had have been shared with other memebers of my family, so my favorite pet would be Boots, the pup I bought at the Langley auction barn for twenty five cntes. She would follow me up and down every furrow I plowed or cultivated as I worked the land for a new crop of strawberries on our farm. She followed me so clase that I ran over her with my first car as I drove along the long back drive way to the barns, she ran to meet me but ended up under the car and out the back without getting under the wheels and was okay in spit of me. Another time she was hit by a car on the road and the driver came to tell me that he had killed my dog and had put her in the ditch and that we has sorry; "BUT she's not dead, she's right behind you," I said, and sure enough there she was. She had cut her head, but she was just fine. And she had never seen a Vet in her life. She was my favorite pet.

What's your favorite tree?

My favourite tree would be the PINE. There are many species of Pines, some with long needles, some with very short needles, and we see very tall straight trees and others that are twisted and bent by wind and snow forming very interesting shapes. The bark is interesting as it ages and differs with the kind of species. The common shore pine is easy to grow, and can take on many different forms, making it my favourite tree.

What destination are you hoping to travel to next?

The next destination we would like to travel to would be Mexico, somewhere along the Mayan Riviera at an all inclusive resort.

What are your hobbies?

My hobbies are Bonsai, photography, reading and cycling.

If you had to pick one word to describe yourself, what would it be?
