What is your favourite book?

My favourite book is "The Last Unicorn" by Peter S. Beagle, who is one of my favouriteauthors. The story is so magickal! Oh yeah, Tokien of course, I have always liked, even before the movies.

What book do you like recommending most, and why?

Lately I've been recommending "The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova. It's not quite a fantasy. It's a very descriptive, subtle story that keeps your reading.

What does reading mean to you?

Reading takes your worlds that somtimes you would like to live in... sometimes not. Many of the books I have read become a part of who I am.

Tell us about your favourite pet.

I have been so lucky to have kown some very special souls in my pets. I have had two very special birds who have had characters even bigger than my horse! I have a pony named Ginger who is a sweetie. My old wolf dog Otis, who has moved onto bigger, better pastures was the kindest, wisest, most forgiving creature I have ever met. He sent me my dog Misty who I have now. I have been honoured to have known so many special souls that have agreed to share their life with me.

What determines a person's fate in this world?

I think a person's fate is decided by how they live their life. A person should be as happy, as true to themselves as possible. Just be a nice person and try to help others as much as you can. No one is perfect, but if you strive to do your best as much as possible, good things happen.

If you could make three rules that everyone would have to follow, what would they be?

There is a saying that applies to all different aspects of life. When dealing with people or situations always say to yourself: Is it kind? Is it necessary? Is it true?

Something that your mom taught you that has been invaluable to you.

The one thing my mom always says to me is, "If you don't have your family, you have nothing."

What are your hobbies?

My hobbies are reading, long walks with Misty, yoga, reading, aromatherapy, cooking, and (thank you Amber for making it an official hobby) wine drinking!!
