Ryan Wugalter and Amber Short hatched the idea of The Book Man's Concert Series following Ryan's return to The Book Man after being in the city for a number of years. The need for good music geared towards younger audience was glaringly obvious, and we decided that we would do our best to bring the shows that we drive to the city to see, to Chilliwack. With a number of these events under our belt, and a solid attendance of around 60 people per show The Book Man's Concert Series has become a quarterly happening that people have really gotten into.

We choose spaces in Downtown Chilliwack to hold these events to support the community that we live and work in. Whether it's at Evangeline's gorgeous restaurant, or at The Chilliwack Arts Centre, we try to find spaces that will complement the music we've chosen and allow our audience to relax and get into the groove of things.
Our past concert series have brought in artists such as Raghu Lokanathan, Corwin Fox, Immaculate Machine, A Lengthy List of Lovers and Geoff Berner. Whether it be eclectic accordian music, foot tapping indie tunes, or a gifted violinist with a voice made of melted butter, we try our best to bring the best to you!
